Meet Alexander
18 10 2010Meet Alexander. He is a Shih Tzu who was found wandering in the cold last February by Dent County Animal Welfare Society (DCAWS). They traced his microchip to a breeder who explained that he sold Alexander at auction in April of 2009. Unfortunately, the breeder did not keep records of the purchase.
It has been eight months since his rescue and this brave little guy is still searching for a home where he can receive the love and attention he deserves. Alexander enjoys spending time with dogs, cats and people, but needs time to come out of his shell. He is looking for a kind, patient friend who will give him the courage to be a happy pup.

Ready, Set, Go!
15 10 2010Hello all,
We are very excited about our upcoming event. John and I have been organizing and planning our hearts out! We want to thank everyone who is helping out and attending the event. We hope it is a huge success! We are planning on having a lot of fun activities for pets and their owners. There will be pet adoptions, a doggy costume contest (starts at 2 p.m.), hayrides, face painting, an auction, behavior demonstrations, a paint-by-number mural, horse presentations, hot dog bobbing (for dogs only) and more! Plus, Y98 will be there to broadcast the event and there will be live music the whole day. Remember, admission to the event is $5 per family or a bag of pet food (any size) to benefit Stray Rescue, Canines in Crisis and Dent County Animal Welfare Society (DCAWS). Spread the word, bring your family and let’s have a great event to help our friends! If you have any questions, please visit http://www.frolic-inn.com or call us at (636) 458-3090!
See you there,
Kristen
