Meet Alexander. He is a Shih Tzu who was found wandering in the cold last February by Dent County Animal Welfare Society (DCAWS). They traced his microchip to a breeder who explained that he sold Alexander at auction in April of 2009. Unfortunately, the breeder did not keep records of the purchase.
It has been eight months since his rescue and this brave little guy is still searching for a home where he can receive the love and attention he deserves. Alexander enjoys spending time with dogs, cats and people, but needs time to come out of his shell. He is looking for a kind, patient friend who will give him the courage to be a happy pup.
